hello, i have a few questions too ask... anyways, i was planning on swapping from my stock y8 too a b16a . would i have to buy aftermarket suspension to hold the extra weight from the new engine or would having stock suspension be ok? and would i be possabl to lower my car on stock coilovers? i know it would ride like sh*t. but i was just curious? thank you for all of your help.

You don't need to do anything to your suspension to accommodate the weight of a B16. Also, you don't have stock coilovers, you have springs which you should not cut for safety reasons.

The motor doesn't weight much more than your original. If you want adjustable suspension, you need to get an aftermarket setup and expect to spend upwards of $550 for anything good.

He does have stock coilovers. They are not adjustable coilovers. When the spring goes over the strut it is then considered a coilover

gotcha, i was thinking i could adjust them because when i look under the hood, and in the trunk were the bolts holden them to the car goes through the top i thought there was a way to change that, even though making it a hard ride.
