stock timing on a 00civic si b16a

what is the stock timing on a 00civic si cause a tech just intalled a new ctrintake cam and he set it a 7degrease advanced is this ok. he also installed my new str camgears,revhard spring,ctr ecu. since my old ecu rev limit was 8krpm and my new one is 9krpm is it ok to rev up that high with this set up and do i really need new retainers. thanks

you should have got it done since you have the valve spring in, also you should have gotten some valves also. now you have to take your head apart again when you want to up grade it. also, do a dyno on your car to get everything set and adjusted right to get top performance.

16 degrees is stock I beleive.
