Stock y8 with spray....can it take it?

Well Im not boosting for a while so while I have the money, I was thinking about getting the ZEX dry kit and running the 55 shot for a while. Is that safe? I have an i/h/e and stage 2 cam with valve springs. Im getting it tuned with Crome Pro as soon as the spray gets here as well. How much whp would I be looking at with the 55 shot and how safe would it be to run it on stock internals at least twice every weekend? If I don't boost in this summer, then I'll end up getting a new head gasket, ARP head bolts and a few other things so I can run like a 65 shot on a regular basis. Anyway, is it safe?

with a good tune, and if you take care of it, i'll be just fine. sounds like you have a good idea of what your getting into, so you should be fine.

k, thanks man. Im deff getting some colder plugs as well, probably the ZEX plugs since they're not to expensive. Im pretty sure I have a burnt valve right now though so Im getting that fixed before I do anything. And like I said, I will NOT spray until I take it to the dyno and have it tuned 1st. Then I'll unleash the N20 and see how she does :D

read the n2o faq in the stickys, but i ran 75 wet on a stock z6, just i/h/e fpr, camgear, plugs, clutch and it was cool. make sure to get a a/f/ ratio guage

I read it. Im deff getting colder plugs and if my tuner recommends a FPR then I'll buy one. Otherwise, Im not spending the money on it. Looks like I'll be buying the kit this week. I still have to figure out why I have low compression in cylinder 2 before I use it though. I have 210 psi in all cylinders except for #2. It's at 150psi. Im hoping it's just a burnt valve. I've checked the valve lash thinking it was the problem from when I put my stage 2 cam and valve springs in, but it didn't change anything. Car still misses sometimes and has low compression in that one cylinder. Im gonna take it by the shop today and have them run some tests on it I think.

Colder plugs, maybe a new pump & fpr, and you'll be good for a dry 65 shot. I would move to a wet kit for 75 shot, but should still be safe.

Im only doing the 55 shot. No higher. Hey if I have a burnt valve...can I just buy a new valve and replace it and be done or am I missing something?
