I was kinda messing around on my sisters car paths through the woods. I was racing my cousin at one point, and when I was getting to around 5,000 RPMs I started smelling a gassy odor, it wasn't straight gas. I'm just wondering if I should be concerned. The car is a 97' ex 215k miles manual. The exhaust is bad I know that for a fact because it's been patched. I bought the car a week ago from my brother for $200.00 (bought it because bodies in nice shape and brother in law got a B16a2 engine for free and planning to swap my current engine soon)
