Hey all, I just got a 95 Civic Ex. It has been lowered. My issue is the driver rear strut is popping so I need to replace it. I wrote down the number that are on the strut. But I am unsure if the struts are OEM with lowering springs or if they have been replaced with shorter struts. The numbers on the strut are 52610-SRO-G220-M1 under that is 921125. Other then that all I can tell you is the springs are blue. I googled those numbers and the first things that come up are 02+ honda stuff. So I have no idea. Anyone run into an issue like this? Can anyone help please???

Dude, that IS strange. I just tried the 52610 in Ebay, getting results for late model accord and oddyssey rear struts (but no hits for the exact string you typed). Does your car have the Integra lower control arms in the rear? Most of the 52610 hits I found seemed to have that type of lower mount in the images...

Ya, I thought it was strange too. I am still looking into it. I will try and post a couple of pics as soon as I can. Is there much of a difference between the Acura lower arms and the civic arms? Also looking into maybe coil-overs vs struts vs struts with coil-over sleeves. Any thoughts.

yeah, the difference is in the way they attach to the rear struts. On the civic, the bottom of the strut is an upsidedown "U" shape, and the arm goes thru the middle. On the teg, the bottom of the strut is shaped like a donut, and the strut goes inbetween the split between the sides of the control arm.
