I recently got the brought idea to use my car vacuum with my power inverter plugged into the cigarette lighter of my Civic...thinking a car vacuum wouldn't pull enough juice to damage. Unfortunately, in NOVA garages and car washes are in short supply, and I thought incorrectly.
Now my dome light stays on if I have door position selected even when the door is closed. I would think if it blew a fuse that it would not turn on at all. I'm going to replace the fuses and see if that corrects the issue...hope it's not the wiring. It does turn off in the off position and on in the on position. I'd just when it's in the middle door position that it stays on regardless of whether the door is closed or not. Any ideas what might cause this?
