So I was in the shower thinking. Since i want to do a full engine and tranny swap soon what if?...this is where s**t get weird... I swapped the motor out of a similar sized diesel car... The whole engine, because I doubt any of my honda parts would work. I wanted to do this because my family has bio diesel and I really like the idea. I notice ill probably get some crap for this idea but I want to know what you all think?

It would take a s**t load of fabricating...
Bud definitely possible.
Worth it? probably not IMO lol

lots of fabrication to make it work. Could mean a lot of money needs to be invested. You decide how much you're willing to do as far as hands on work, because if you want it to be affordable you'll need to do the work.

Why not just buy a VW and find a TDI to swap in

The TDI's in Jetta's are actually very reliable from what I've read. Just buy one of those.

Yes they are. So are the Audi's. Then again, same company. The new TDI's are top notch and are very reliable.

I hope you have a huge budget if you decide to go through with as a ton of stuff would have to be custom made.

I say go for it, it would turn out pretty wickked imo. Idk much about the smaller diesals like those, but if they're anything like a duramax/cummins/powerstroke it shouldnt be to hard to make a good bit of power for cheap :thumbs up

yes that easy to do but the whole replacing a ethanol with diesel

It's a pretty engine... but how can you see out of the windshield to drive the car?

Windshield is not a windshield. Windshield is actually a monitor and when you turn on the car the cameras pop up in front of the car and projects whats in front of you onto the monitor as well as outside people looking into the car. They will not be looking at a windshield but actually another monitor back to back with the inside one but projecting the image of what it would look like if you were looking straight through a windshield...
