a lot of u guys who own 92-95 hatchs (cx/dx) know that it mostly comes with 1 pair of speakers sometimes 2 but rarely....one on each side of the door. my friend ran my current wires and didnt do it correctly. i currently have 2 sets of speakers..the ones on the doors and 2 6x9's on my rear cargo cover. even tho i have 2 sets of speakers...one set sits further back so the dont fade...heres what i mean if u guys are confuzed...if i fade to the front, u can still hear music but when u fade to the rear both sets of speakers go out. i have an amp hooked up to my 2 6x9's but they arent to the front.(not even sure if it works like its suppose to)

my idea as to get it professionally done to where i can hook up my amp to all 4 speakers and maybe a sub(to have it push harder to sound better) and have an actual front and rear speakers so i can hear music. it'll cost about 8o bucks, which i dont mind paying to have what i want but my friends say its kind of stupid. is it my ignorance or do i jus not see it? i mean i dont mind paying for something i want. this might not sound much but i think its very luxurious to have a system that isnt ghetto like mine. audio gurus fill me in..

p.s. i hope the set up i have right now when done correctly will be loud enough for me, i dont want a box covering up my spare jus incase if i ever need it...trying to keep it light as possible.

So you want to use amps to power your stock speakers? Am I missing something?

Don't blow your s**t. Go to a car audio professional and talk it over with him first.

I would pay to have it working correctly. Your problem sounds kinda weird, I know car audio but I'm not fully knowledgeable with install. I do my own installs but I really cant tell you where your problem is but if its 80 to get your stuff rewired go for it! In my hometown they want $200 to install front component speakers into a civic that had components! thats why I dont pay....

Your issue is this, one set of speakers is powered by the FRONT section of the headunit's amplifier; at the same time the other set is powered by an external amp which is connected to the FRONT pre-amp output of the headunit. Fading the headunit forward allows both sets to play, while fading it to the REAR does not send a signal to any of the speakers.

You can simply connect the amplifier to the REAR pre-amp output of the headunit to solve this problem.
