stupid question...bigger rear view mirrors

was lookin into gettin a bigger rear view mirror thingamajigger

i searched and only found 1 thread. so i understand they come in 240mm-300mm? whats the biggest i can go and still be able to use the sun visor things. i never use em cuz i wear oakleys but my dad drives the car too and I cant take the car to college with me so id like to leave it convenient for him as well.

and how do u mount those things? stupid i know but eh, i dunno how so im askin

Width migh depend on how you angle he mirror and waht position you have visors in, LOL. Get a tape in there and measure

The ones I have seen were either a strap around the back, or adhesive tape.

My stock rear view mirror pretty much reflects the PERFECT angle of the whole back window from where I sit, with me being able to see a little bit of each edge, and everything straight back, so I'm fine with it.

they should just slide on, and the proper term is broadway mirror (might help ur search)

i have this in 11 inches from them.. DO NOT BUY THE ONE I LINKED its too large.. call them and see if they can still get the 11 inch. i have it and its PERFECT.. its not a stupid mod.. i actually love it.. i can see out both rear 1/4 windows..

id like to measure it but my cars 250 miles away at home while im at college and i wont see it til april break

and i cant see my whole back windshield. im like 5'5" but i sit literally almost as far back as the seats go (few notches before the end) but my arm still isn't extended all the way when shifting in any gear and i dont lean on the arm rest. its just comfortable for me...i like to be relaxed when i drive and i cant be if i sit much closer.

i did but i was wondering about the jhpusa one. since theirs is smaller, i figured id see whats about that that before having to deal with the ioport one

i personally think that the io port one is nicer.. itrs only like a half an inch bigger.. and the edges are rounded so it does not look boxy...

hmm thats true... but im wondering if ne1 has the jhpusa one and if u can see outta the 1/4 mirrors with it

and i dont really care much for boxy/rounded looks. i like both

i broke mine a few weeks ago... but i miss it and will buy another

i've allready broke 2, so this will be #3....... and all of the breakage was %100 my fault and in no way reflects the quality of the piece

the io port one CLIPS on with these strong ass spring clips.. i dont think it would break easy.. JUST letting you know.. im not sure what one you had.. but the one i got from them is really nice..

i gots a similar question, ive seen some in import shops that are longer and box shaped and have all this Japanese writting and the letter H.I.D on em, do they minize the the reflection of the headlight behind u? i know a lot of us in lowered cars face this problem, a non-hid suv can blind the s**t outta me just because of my cars height.

btw i have some pretty dark windows, but when ur mirrors are at suv headlight height, drive at night gets pretty dangerous. is there anything that can disfuse the brightness of lights behind me and still have good visability? (my bro's teg has some serious tint in the back, no light blinds, but u cant see s**t out the back)

I got like 5% on my back window. Truck glare is not an issue. I do have to back up on my side mirrors though.

I don't even think I use my rearview. Hondas usually have HUGE side mirrors
