Stupid, but curious. Technically, couldn't you both turbocharge AND supercharge?

Anything is possible with enough money, time and effort. Doesn't mean that you should do it though, keep it reasonable.

im glad you realized that was a stupid question from the start! Jk, it is a kinda cool idea, but def not one of those very reasonable ones. I would say twin turbos on a honda are less crazy than twincharging.

it's actually kinda popular w/ the MR2 community. HKS actually made a twincharge kit for the AW11. hawt schit.

considering the way the JR roots-style SC fits on most honda chassis (allowing stock or stockish throttle body location), and how easily turbo kits are available for the civic, you could actually put together a twincharged kit without much complication. the only problem would be $$$; but:

-find a used JR SC w/ the intercooler manifold
-find a used turbo kit. preferably w/ blown turbo so you can rebuild or replace it cheaply
-tunewithcrome

call it done!

Someone quad turbocharged a Chevrolet 305 a couple of years ago.

4 freakin' turbochargers....:suprise:

That may well be the only way to get anything resembling speed out of a 305. :rolf:
