Here's the problem

where the rubber part as shown int he picture i guess meets the sub its not ripped just came off like as if the glue didnt hold enough..you think i could just glue it up or just wait for my boy to give me his???

Glue it that's how their put together.. just need to use the right kind of glue not sure of what kind..

thats why im tryin to get rid of it...i had 2 in my hatch man.... sounded mean and nice for a day or 2...now its just annoyin... haha

yeah i used to have one in my silver hatch..then it got stolen..no great loss.

when did you buy it? your sub should have warrenty .. on it.. if so send it back to alpine to get reglued pos re coned

a buddy of mine had the same problem he used gorilla glue and its fine for the past 6 months and no problems and he has 2 MTX 8500 just thought id put my 2 cents in
