i have one alpine type r in a box 13.25 D x 17 W x 16.5 T and i want to port it, but i dont know what size of hole to drill to make it somewhat accurate, can anyone help?

I hate to tell you this but just putting a hole in your box will ruin your box and give you shitty sound. There is alot more to having a ported box. The port also has to be tuned. Here is the web site I used to make my box. Very easy to use. You just need to know how many cubic feet you need and the tube frequency for your port. The site gives you all the diameters you'll need to cut also. Trust me its better to build one than just f**k up your sealed box! I made mine for my 15" and its the first ported box I've ever made. Boy is it loud!
