okay i have 2 JL 12' W3v2 in a sealed box. My amp is Pioneer GM-5200T. http://www.amamax.com/picaramgm76m.html
My subs are dual voice coil and are wired in series, Also my amp is bridged to connect to my subs.

My problem is that my at times my subs are really low, like it lost alot of power, but it still works but seems as it is very weak. Then few minutes later they come back. then 3 minutes later it goes out.

I believe that my problem is the wiring so i plan to buy a wiring kit. But i also plan on buying a new amp. I don't really know what kind of amp is good for my subs. I don't really understand 1 channel amps or 2 channel amps.

what amp do you guys think is good for my 2 JL W3v2 subs??
Also what are some wiring kits that are quality or does brand even matter?

run a kicker amp. Your amp is prolly shot and it is prolly overheating which is causing the amp to cut in and out. Im having the same problem right now with a pioneer amp. Ill be buying a new amp pretty soon.

find a mono amp that match RMS on your sub. don't look @ max power because it's very misleading. I have 1 mono amp to power a 12' sub (500W x 1 at 2ohms). Im not sure how u would calculate it if u have 1 amp to power 2 subs.

NVM, if your JL has RMS Power Range : 75-300 Watts (x2 = 600 Watts), I would look for a mono amp that has RMS Power Range @ 600 Watts so each of your JL would get 300 Watts.

A mono amp(1 channel) can be split to two subs. Say the RMS of the amp is 600, you split it to two subs you get 300 watts RMS to each sub. 2 channel should tell you how many it gives to both channels. For 2 JL W3's I'd pick up either an Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, or a JL amp. All are somewhat pricey, but they are great as far as quality, unlike Pioneer.

you might be overloading the OHM load on the amp...get a voltmeter and check what OHm load you are putting on the amp...re-wire if you need to change your load...running it at 2 ohms or one ohm bridged is not a good idea...unless the amp is built for that...

sounds like your power wire fuse is to small and it keeps cutting out.....try a bigger fuse maybe?

alright a 1 channel amp aka mono block amp has normally only has 1 set of speaker wire terminals so there is no need in bridging and its impossible to bridge a mono block amp. a 2 channel can be wired upso u can run 1 sub off of each channel or you can bridge the channels and make it into a mono block amp and run both subs off the 2 channels put together.
as stated above, DO NOT look at max power. only look at rms. ur subs are 300 watts rms so u need eather a mono block amp that is 600 rms, or a 2 channel amp that is 300x2 rms. cheap amps lie about the true rms power so ur best bet is to not be a cheap ass and pay the money for the good stuff.
good amp brands are: Kicker, Alpine, Rockford Fosgate, JL, JBL, Infinity
decent brands: Power Acustic, Planet Audio, Audio Pipe, Pioneir,
s**t BRANDS: Sony explode, lightning audio, power bass, Dual, etc. ull know when u come across a piece of s**t

its all about what load you are putting on the amp... the lower the ohm load...the more power and more heat and stress you put on the amp...you also draw more current from the battery...thus moving the amperage high and blowing the fuses...

tell us how big the power wire and what size fuse you are using...

and double check your ground...

Sounds like the amp is going into protection...

Make sure your amp can hold the OHM load that your subwoofers are showing it...

Amp will go into protection alot of the times if the ohm-load is something not supported.. ie: usually under 2ohms on decent amps...
