summer project..with a goal in mind

summers coming up and my dad bought a car a while back which desperately needs to be worked on..basically together we'll be work'n on the motor cuz thats the biggest problem..but a front lip and new front and rear bumpers will be added (cause of accident)..pics will be posted on whenever we get it worked on..

took it to toyota a while back and they quoted us 15k to fix the motor alone..so we'll be doing it ourselves
..goal is to drive this car and mine along the west coast just for site seeing..father and son..disney moment

toyota said blown piston and other internal stuff..so we might just do what we can and build the internals..today we'll be making a custom downpipe for it..pics will be up asap

Doesn't look like (from the poor photos) that it needs a new paintjob. Plus factory paint is something nice to keep if you can. Think about seeing old muscle cars... and you hear it's original paint. That's always cool to me when it's original.

The slight marring and swirls you have on the Supra should be easily worked out by a professional detailer. For the amount you'll pay, you'll keep a better paintjob (they can be made to look new - just make sure you see finished cars!). A good replacement paint job costs a lot more than getting it detailed will.

my dad wants to paint the car mid-night purple..but we'll most likely keep it stock..just because i'll have empty pockets by the end of this..well the both of us will..plus too much money being spent makes mommy mad..=(

when i had that set up, on sunny days i would use one for cold air and one for short ram..but now..as u can probably guess..its different cuz i have turbo now..but.yea
