Hey guys I am new to this forum. So I encountered a problem yesterday with my sunroof while driving down the freeway. I went to pop it open and it seems like its stuck. Its like there is something blocking it. I used it maybe ten minutes before it stopped working, and it worked fine. The motor still runs while you have the buttons pressed down but it just wont open. The window shifts slightly and then the motor continues to run. The motor still sounds like its running strong. Anyone else have this problem before?

i used to have to give it a lil push while holding the buttion on my old eg hatch to open it. not always but most of the time.

Hey guys so I dug a little deeper. It took me a minute to get the dam thing open (had to push up on it and bang on a couple times) but It turns out on the passenger side there is a black plastic slide that locks the window in place when shut, well it is suppose to retract when you open it and the spring that makes it retract popped off. Now I know I have to tear the whole headliner off in order to fix this. BUT! I slid the plastic thing forward with a little force and some silicone spray and now the problem is gone. Maybe it might work for some out there. The driver side has the lock still so it doesnt worry me just gotta find some time to tear the headliner apart now.
