sup everyone im new here and i just bought today a 93 eg hatch dx model. picked it up from a local guy for $1500. ill get pics posted up either tonight or tomorrow. i also have a 94 civic lx which is the wifes car. get pics of it looaded also soon

probally gonna turn it to my daily driver with style and swap to gsr engine and tranny then see where it goes from there

If you floor your car does it go BWWWWWAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!? If so yes you have Vtec.

Look at the valve cover, listen for the change on exhaust tone, research these simple things

ah ok thanks for the advice and lettin me know i wasnt sure cause when i gun it the sound changes big time also i never payed attention to the speedo and my wife noticed that it stays at 20mph the guy i bought it from gave me a new speed sensor he had bought is that the reason or could it be somethin else

well it may have a different engine in it than from the factory, so u might have vtec...
dxs do not come with vtec, so check the stamp on the engine clock or the valve cover to see if it is a vtec motor...
