Suspension and Fuel Problems

Problem #1.My 93 civic LX has "unknown" coilovers that cause a major bounce going over bumps and some roll action when driving. I am looking to get a more stiffer, less bouncing, sturdy feel. Any help to fix this problem will be greatly appreciated. Problem #2, replaced the fuel pump (more like 2 yrs ago), fuel sending unit (last year), fuel filter numberous times(last year). When accelerating or going around a turn the fuel guage hand will either raise or lower and sometimes have a bogging affect. I tried to be brief but surely specific in describing my problem. Please help if possible!!!!

I believe the fuel needle on the instrument cluster does that in most older cars. I know my 1992 hatchback does it a lot, I can have a half tank and during a sharp turn it goes down to almost empty. It has to do with the way the float is that designates the fuel level I believe.

For a smoother ride you could always do stock struts with lowering springs, or get some name-brand reliable coil overs. They will still provide a rougher/more rigid ride than stock… but shouldn't continually bounce over bumps. Should be more of a hard bump and thats it.. where the cheap ones will continue to bounce several times.

Both problems are consistent and are a pain in the butt to deal with. I am thinking about going back stock suspension and just add some lowering springs or just buy some sport shock strut coilovers all in one.

Don't do that, properly lower it with reputable coilovers or go stock. Trust me just got done swapping lowering springs on stock struts on my car, they were awful, like dangerously awful.
