I have my 96 Civic Ex,
I need some better cornering and stiffer ride.
i have a set of APC Adjustable coilovers that a friend never used and gave to me, i have heard a few reasons why i shouldn't put these in my civic:
PROS
- Adjustable ride height
- free
CONS
- noisy
- rough ride
- could ruin shocks and/or suspension
- don't last long
i spoke to another friend that said that i should go with gas shocks and just get a new set of stock springs, he says the ride with be smoother and i will still get the cornering and wieght distribution i need.
anybody here that has any experience with these, what would be my best choice and if anyone out there has installed a set of adjustable coilovers, what is the ride like???? noisy??? rough????
i am not looking to spend a whole lot but if i could get them and have them installed for under 5 bills that would be cool.
