Ok, first I did use the search button but nothing was very specific to me. Ive got a crap load of questions about the suspension on my SI. I want height adjustability, a ride thats perhaps a little stiffer than stock, and nothing overly expensive. The absolute top end is Tein type flex. I drive this car every day so not too extreme. Oh, and on a more general note, how much of a pain in the ass is it to adjust the ride height on coilovers or regular shock/spring?

tein SS, great full coilover, and not too expensive, price ranging from $800-1000. depending on where you get them.

I had skunk2 coils and tokico blues on my si and they were great

a little stiffer than stock
and adjusting the coils was pretty easy (P.S. you cand adjust your ride height with springs)

I have Air ride now and adjustin the ride height is as easy as flipping a switch.... hehehehehehe

still got those tokicos?? haha what i would do is just get some springs and shocks. i have eibach sportlines, lower the car about 1.8ish they are linear instead of progressive crap, and stiff. tanabe full coilovers are better than teins.....

how do you base your claim that tanabe full coilover are better than teins? i agree they're better than tein basics, but what about all the other tein coilovers out there?

Yeah, I have to disagree about the tanabe > Tein thing. Tein makes so many differnet kinds and it seems like every built JDM car has some version of their stuff. Those guys can buy whatever they want right?

I payed about 620 for all 4 coils and all 4 shocks about 2 years ago. Yea tanabe full coils may be better than the basic tiens.... but give me a set of the adjustible height and 16 way adjustable dampening and i will take them over the tanabe's any day of the week

friend has tanabe full coilovers (i forget the model) and other has tein ra's...they both drivin and autocrossed eachothers cars and they both agree that the tanabes feel better. s**t have you seen the spring rates on the teins?? they ar f**ked up. they dont really go too well.
