alright plain and simply, I am new to this site and just need some help with what are the things needed for lowering my 2000 civic si? the whole suspension is stock and is in need for a sweet new look. just need to know all things I need to get in order to lower my ride

If your looking to slam it, definitely go with a coil over strut kit, if your simply looking to get rid of most of the fender gap, do what I did and go with springs. Tein S-Techs have been good to me and I've been riding on stock struts for over a year.

It really depends on what you're looking to get out of the car. If you just want to lower it for looks, you could probably get away with a mild drop from some springs. If you're on a budget and want some performance, you can put together a spring and strut combo for pretty cheap. If you're not on a budget, then a coilover set is definitely the way to go.
