The only thing you can do is convert it to manuel........ you dont really have any other choise, unless you want to stay auto

I thought that when you buy a motor, it usually comes with a 5spd tranny, correct? That's part of the package ...

All you need to do is get a auto b series tranny. The computer you would use would have to be a automatic p28 ecu. Then you would have to contact hondata and have them reporgram the fuel and timing curve for you.

if it's anything like the manuals where you can use the grs tranny on a b16 motor then i think it just might work. but i think that it would be a worthless swap then. the b16 is all about high revs and you won't be able to get there fast enough in an auto. but swapping an auto to a manual sucks ass too. if it was me i think i'll just take that cash ($2400 complete swap) and try to find a 5th gen si hatch (manual).

if you're going for looks get the 00 si but if you're after speed get the 5th gen si hatch, try to get 2400-3000 from your car, and then swap.
