Watsup! I have an automatic DX 4 door and my engine is just about to go. I just put in a new transmission about 6 months ago, but it really isn't working for me. I want to swap a new engine in there, but i need to keep it automatic because my wife also drives the car. She's really crazy when it comes to racing, so if I give her an stick shift she'll never stop! Anyways, I was told about the B16a2, but i just learned that i could drop an LS/Vtec with an automatic tranny. What do you guys think? I thought about the H22, but the weight will just kill me in the launch and it's a hell of a lot of money. Please give me some advice. My car will be parked until February or so. I need something before I take the car back out. Let me know what you think. I know it sucks to drive an automatic, but I have no choice. Thanx....Later

wouldn't it be easier to just swap a full integra ls engine into the civic?
you could do that, but the b16 would be quicker ... depends what kind of person you are. The ls motor will own on low end cause it has a lot of torque, so thats probably the best motor you can have on an auto tranny which robs you of low end torque compared to a manual.
how much do you think these 2 motors would run for. im in jerzey.
