I'm getting an
h22a complete swap put into my car, and i realize i have cluster that won't work. what kind of cluster should i put in my 93 dx HB? also i have been told by a guy who runs a tuner shop, or says he does to chip my car with a p28 with chrome, should i?

your cluster works just fine. You do need either a p13 or a chipped p28 with a h22a basemap.

Is your current cluster already working? Use that one, if its broken, just get another 92-95 civic cluster with a rpm gauge.

I'm getting a p28 chip with chrome. my cluster is fine, however, i want to see rpm's lol. should i get e prelude on or a normal si cluster? or would a prelude one even fit?

you don't have to get an Si cluster, a EX one works just fine too. that's what I have. they are easy to find, and you can also do what I did and take out your odometer/speedometer gauge on your cluster if it works fine and swap it with the new one, so you can keep the odometer reading on the car with the car. that way you don't get flagged on carfax for changing the mileage

ex model civics are USDM(united states domestic market)
si model civics are CDM(canadian domestic market)

they are the same car.
