I was thinking of getting a front and rear sway bar for my ek coupe to make the handling and steering nice and tight! I have BWR LCA's and subframe brace. What do you guys recommend for a cheap good front and rear sway bar? Also I know on other cars such as VW guys actually eliminate sway bars because it limits how low you can go with your car do ek's have that problem or can you slam it with sway bars still?

If you're going to slam your car, why are you bothering with swaybars to improve the handling? You're defeating the purpose by slamming your car in the first place.. If you want the car to handle optimally, set it at a reasonable ride height and get the sway bars. If you're tight on money, just get some OE bars from an Integra.

No such thing as cheap and good haha. But yeah, if you plan to lower the car so much that the sway bars are limiting it, then I doubt you care enough about the handling to run sway bars in the first place.

Can anyone recommend good sway bars & strut tower bars for my 00 civic si? No knock-off or cheap crap. Is there really much of a difference between the main brands? DC sports, skunk2, mugen, etc?
I've been running a dc sports front upper strut tower bar for about 7 years now. Also running tokico blue shocks & skunk2 adjustable coil overs, set about half way down, maybe like 2 inch drop, with 18 inch wheels

Yeah OP... cheap and good don't work together. Your first mistake is trying to make a slammed car handle well. And two, the BWR... talk about cheap. I wouldn't trust BW on my car. It's the same as Blox.

Honestly, running an OEM ITR rear sway would do well. Like exspeedy said. As far as a top mount, a three point will do more good than a regular old two point will. Like a PWJDM or Buddy Club one would do well. No overly expensive but still good quality. At least that's what I'm looking into running on my EJ. :what:

I'd stay away from DC. Cheap crap. Skunk2 is about middle of the road and Mugen is basically OEM upgraded/aftermarket. You really can't go wrong with it. And there's way more brands than those mentioned.

 WOAH. 18s on an EM1? Sweet Jesus.... Why?
Correct wheel size would help you handle WORLDS better.

lol 18's is amusing and you should ditch the Tokico's they are junk if you are looking to get better handling. Your car has to be quite slow as your spinning mass is crazy high

Thanks crash!
The DC bar was free so that was a no brainer =)

Yeah.. 18's on my EM1. Believe it or not, up until a couple months ago handling on my car was pretty good. Years back I had a bunch of shave work done to the car, making it heavier. I knew I wasn't going to many engine/performance mods so I went for looks...sometimes I regret the direction I went but it works.
