Swiching clusters

Hi, I have a 97 dx which unfortunately doesn't have a tach so im thinking about buying a 96-00 cluster with a tach so my question is will it even work on my car and how hard on scale of 1-10 is it to install it. I was trying to find instructions on this forum but after looking through a couple of "how to" pages I gave up. If there's a similar thread somewhere please let me know, if not, I'll appreciate your help! Thanks!​

yup... I did the exact same thing. Its plug and play. Any 96-00 clusters are interchangeable. Its very easy to install as well. All you need is a philips screw driver.

Just plug and play bro. any 96-00 civic cluster will fit and work on your car.
