t25 turbo

i was talking to a friend who works at a speed shop in my area and said there was a a civic ex d16y8 with a t3/t4 turbo on the car and he said that it only is under full boost at like 5k. my question is would a t25 be faster spooling on my b18c? im only looking to make like 250 to 275 on like 8 psi. and also sinse it being smaller wouldn't it fit better instead of having to shave the block down

a t25 will definatly spool faster,but your gonna lack majorly on top end power with it on your gsr.you be better off meeting your hp goals with a 1g dsm 14b turbo,but even that is small,i would get something bigger if i were you without a doubt.



*EDIT*swap turbos with that d series...haha your motor is bigger and can hit full boost with that turbo sooner that the D
