tail lights n headlights dim

so my 96 civic coupe tail light n headlights dim everytime i start the car n just keep dimin back n forth i thought it was my alternator not working but then my boy told me that since my speed sensor does not work n i need a new 1 thats whats causin my lights to dim n the engine light to come on any ideas if this culd b the problem?

Pull your alternator and take it to autozone and have it checked out!

Best bet is its ur alternator.

Rule of thumb is to check things in succession. Check alt. Battery and the easy stuff before u go buying anything...
