Tailights

Hey, I've got some completely clear/white tailights on my 2000 civic hatchback. So i need to buy some red bulbs for it. I picked up some bulbs at autozone but it makes the brake lights look hot pink. If someone could tell me what type of bulbs would make the brake lights a true red and not pink , and where i could find them, i'd apreciate it.

i've always seen people with clear tails and red bulbs, comes out pink like your saying... but iono if your going to find a bulb that will illuminate TRUE RED... just the way it comes out of the lenses....

You can get some LED light bulbs that are alot brighter and would make your lenses look more red. No mods required, just pop them in.

If you're looking for a company that makes the LED's, APC makes them.

i agree with the led's ... they will make it almost brighter than stock tails.

You could always paint the light itself red. Unless you want to keep your lights all clear.

I tried using red bulbs, and red led lights for my turn signal. Since the lens is white where I am talking about I thought it would look cool this way, but it actually wasnt all that bright at all and was not a TRUE red like your talking about.. Eventually I gave up and just popped in some white bulbs and now I have white turn signals

dude, its a bulb. its not like your flossin around one of their wings with hella decals. im sure they dont even make the bulb, theyre just one of the distributer. its not like someone would rag on you for having apc bulbs
