Lift up the Honda badge with a small screwdriver then just unbolt. Don't worry the badge will go back fine. I saw someone trying to put back an OEM steering wheel and they were messing about with hex screws that are only visible from the back, opened the front cover like a flap etc. Once they'd put it back i pulled off the honda badge and showed them how easy it could be :D

One tip: When wiring in the horn pull out the fuse ;) your neighbours won't like it as your horn goes off all the time whilst fitting it

just pull the fuse for it. wont that work?
i meant hooking it back up with the new wheel... mine is further complicated by having a quick release steering wheel hub..

its not hard to do it with an airbag. i did it on a del sol and we just undid the airbag pack, then the bolt you have to take off was right there. you can sell the factory bags for a lot, $400-$500. i dont know about removing the passenger one.

dirver is way easy. its either allen screws or regular phillips on the back and the whole airbag assembly pops out then you disconnect the wire to the chagre for deploying the airbag, and pull it off. then remove a big ass nut and take out the wheel. once it is kind of off you have to disconnect a bir plug for cruise control if you have it.

BTW: what is a clock spring?
