taking out pin strip??

hey....how do i take out a pin stip on the car? i heard..if i take a blow dryer n just heat it up..the pin strip will slowly come loose..is tht true? if so..im gon do tht..or is there another way?? thanks I WANT THT PIN STRIP GONE!!

(the reason im postin this in this thread and not in the "exterior" section is because..fa some reason i dont get any respones if i post it anywhere else..but everytime i post a question in this section..it always gets answers..so ya...)

yeah its true, after its removed get some goo gone to remove any residue, it can be found at home depot. as for being another way, i cant think of anything more simple than that. good luck bro.

Some people like to use a razor blade to get the peeling started... but a blow dryer works as well.

what the hell is an eraser wheel, and how the hell would we get ahold of one. Blowdryer sounds fine to me. Dont try that razorblade BS. I did that to some bumper stickers, and now I have a bunch of chips in my paint from the damn blade.

well i don't know my freinds work at a body shop and thats what he told me to use im to lazy to do mine so i never bought one and did it, but a local store that carries auto paint and supplies carries them

Eraser wheels are the s**t! go pick one up from ur local bodyshop supply co. fer like 10-20 bucks. It's definately the safest and easiest way to get that ooglie ass pinstripe off too. Takin a razorblade to your paint though fellas?-
