Temperature Sending Unit Wire & Connector Busted

Title says it all guys.
I'm working on changing a head gasket on the car. Had to take the sensor off.

Tried twisting it off and the wire busted. Got some needle nose pliers to get the black connector off and the connector cracked.

It's the single wire that broke.

How do I go about getting a new connector and rewiring the busted wire?

Engine: D15B7 1.5L 16 valve.

Get a replacement plug+wire at the junkyard and then solder/shrink wrap it to the broken wire.

I was hoping for a new wire.

The one on at the moment is brittle and doesn't bend.

I guess it's better than nothing though. Thanks RonJ.
