temporary mini me turbo swap

heyy cc, ive got a z6 motor that im saving money for to build to hold good boost. in the mean time, i have a mini me just sitting around in my garage. im just looking for some info on how i should go about boosting the mini until the z6 is finished. i already have the complete turbo set up. can i just put in some vitara pistons? or will it need rods also? i want to do this fairly cheap since its just for now, but im not trying to blow a hole in the side of my block. any help you guys have would be awesome

why not leave the mini me as it is and save the turbo and your money for the z6 build....thats just my opinion. no sense in dropping money in both engines when your building one to hold good boost

yeah i know i could always do that. just thought itd be a little more fun to have the turbo running low boost just for now. if it was cheap enough i figured what the hell, why not. you know what im sayin?
