Test iacv on 99 civic dx

Is there any way you can test iacv on a 99 civic dx model?

Not really... Is the idle fluctuating bad?.... Well I would just take it off and clean it.... can't hurt to! ....and if it still idles bad just buy a new one..

It kinda hs a high idle at cold starts and stays high even when warm. It runs fine but the idle just stays a bit too high like at stop lights and when parked. When turned off and turned back on the idle is nice and low where I think it's supposed to be. I did clean it out and it wasnt that dirty and it still does it. Any other suggestions?

My friend's SI ( American EX) Does the same thing.... is it an Auto or Manual Tranny?
