I'm pretty clearly in need of a replacement actuator for my 98 civic hx passenger side door. I've seen in a few posts about testing the actuator by running power directly off the battery. Never having done this before it seems to me as though they are saying to run a wire off one of the battery terminal directly to the harness of the actuator.
Can anyone with experience give me a little how-to for testing this? Here is the diagram of interest:
