just got a new civic today. I named it the beast. it's a 86 civic dx hatch. It runs GREAT! needs new brakes and new brake lines I think. here it is!

I plan to swap in a d16a1 so I can boost it. going to get away from the carbed engine.
edit: I got it for $50!

haha at all the comments.
it has 197,000 miles on it.
I plan to put a d16a1 into it so that I can boost it. it's hard to boost a carbed motor.
I've been reading up and the only engine that will swap in without any motor mount problems is the d16a1out of a 88-89 integra. I hope to get the complete swap for under $100 and swap it in for under $300 (lot of work to upgrade to fuel injected) then I'm going to do a cheap junk yard turbo setup. as for the body, I plan to primer it black. and paint the rims black. and lower it.
as for why I don't have a pic of the back, the car was facing west and the sun was setting so it was just a big sun blur. I'll get another one soon.
as for weight, I think it weighs 1600lbs. lol
