so i had a dollar in my pocket today...and after i got gas i decided to buy a scratch ticket..and oh boy...wont 2 grand, off of one ticket...i almost pissed my pants...so on my way to school i was thinkin what i should buy..and i've got it down to a turbo or to put it in savings....if i get a turbo...what kind should i get (brand wise)???...help me decide!!!

Save it, or build up some internals (pistons,cam(s),rods,valve springs etc), you really should before u put a turbo in it.

if you built your car for turbo without having turbo.. most likely your car will be slower then stock. then still have to save up $3k for turbo and who knows how long that will take..

congrats on the ticket..i still have my ticket i won $20 when i went up to seattle couple months ago..i forgot to cash it..lol..if i had $2k.. i would put it in a savings..but that's just me..

i'd payoff credit cards
or for $2k i could buy like a 93 explorer... and sell it for $4,500... pay the salesman %25 commish that means i got $4k in my pocket.... then i'd prolly buy a few more cars, most likely explorers, you can buy them cheap and they sell like hotcakes... everyone and their mother wants "4x4", and sell them.. then i'd have $8k... and so on and so on...

but hey.. that's the way i think, i own a car dealership

in my state you can buy/sell upto 6 cars per year without needing a dealers license, say you make an average of $1500 on each car sold, that's still $9k per anum.... it's a fun hobby

built internals is slower than stock? so if i put new pistons, rods, valve springs, camshaft, cam gears, and maybe a port and polished head id be running 16's? you learn something new every day
