the correct way to relocate a battery ???

so ive seen amillion people relocate there batt to the trunk. i am looking to do this but everyone i see looks so unsafe. with cut and tapped together power wire for the batt and etc. what is the correct way or a kit i can buy to relocate my batt the proper way??

use a battery relocation kit and make sure you use a sealed battery un-sealed batteries give off toxic fumes.

where can you find those kits? all i ever people do is take system wires and cut the original and tape them together and that is scaryyy

There's bound to be a million write ups with pictures using a google search. Just don't be dumb about it and you'll be ok. If something seems unsafe to you, then it probably is unsafe you know what I mean? Don't bungee cord the battery down, don't use tape as a sole means of routing wire, don't use too small gauge of wire or connectors, ... If it looks wrong, it is wrong. Bolt or weld a tray down in the trunk, use correct tie downs, use heavy gauge wire and connectors, route your wires in a manner they won't be cut or messed with... Simple

4 gauge wire for everything, ring terminal for power end at starter. if you get it close enough to a ground source you could technically re use the ground wire. Then run wire to the fuse box, i forget what wire gauge for that. i used a little smaller than 4. Also a sealed battery or a non sealed that is vented to the outside

what i did was order an amp kit on ebay that came with a 2 gauge wire..also comes with a fuse which is good too
