The I-20 Ice Tally

Here's what I saw wrecked out on the way to work:
2 Chevrolet fullsize trucks
1 Ford Expedition (upside down)
1 Kia Sportage
1 Toyota Pre-Runner (upside down)
1 infiniti J30
1 Buick Roadmaster
1 Nissan Sentra (appears to have been hit by the RWD Buick)
1 Saturn SL ( it was just sitting on the side of the fwy with cop cars flaring off the lanes. No apparent damage)

...and I didn't think that the conditions were that bad! I don't remember even feeling my ABS kick back once.

Ya, i work in arlington but live in coppell and i can assure you that was one icy as hell drive. i actually only seen one wreck on my way here and it was on 183. an irving police car wrapped around a telephone pole.

We have ice on all the trees but the roads are fine.

I drove home Friday and Saturday from Colorado. Talk about seeing tons of wrecks... My car was covered in snow. The WRX did great in it all.

Did you come US287 to I-20? or I-20 to I-25

287 was supposedly solid ice from Wichita Falls north.

My car hates that 10,000 ft elevation at that mountain pass near Sopris CO on I-25 My 'teg wouldn't have liked trying snow and thin air at the same time and the wagon has 215/40R17 summer tires.
At least your Sube is boosted to help with that thin air

haha I had to come home through Austin cause of the ice... Long long trip home, pretty much drove around the whole state... Took I-10 a lot of the way.

i saw 5 copz on i-20 near tcc south.. pull over 5 carz at the same time.. it was krazi s**t
