She I call her Boom. Yeah dude She drums like no tomorrow. I use to have a Ford Ranger with a Memphis Pr 10. Just One It was loud.. But this orions are f**king amazing.. There so loud. I actually want to start Db drag contest. But at the same time I've been thinking about dumping em. Because of the weight in the car. But im also wanting to play paintball at the same time.. So Im trying to get a DYE PM6 for it or a ANGEL SPEED if anyone has one.


But if anyone in the DIrty south has a DB sound thing that checks that s**t.. I would love to see what i beat..

Was that a negative post ??? I ll take that as a NO. So you honestly dont think I can push some people out of a DB drag. I've been two a few a couple years ago.. Just to watch... And I could of swore I would kill some people that were there. I actually believe my s**t is really loud. People hear me comeing for days.. But Ill never know. I love the sound quality I get out of it. I also have a badass HeADUnit.. Sonys bad ass headunit. If you would like to see it ask.. Ill get pics.. But anyways thanks for the comments and the free ups

agreed, you prolly would. you've prolly got a really good sounding system, but not enough power and a lot of those guys tend to have more then just 2 subs

not to mention alot of the guys are running super custom ported set-ups...not just a sealed box. and if you want something thats loud for a short period of time, check out audiobahn stuff.

orions are good subs. Especially when put in the right box.

I have 2 Diamond CM3's in a dual chamber, ported box and DAMN they hit hard.

145db pointing into the cab, and it sounds little louder when they face the trunk, but i didnt like that much rattle, so i switched um around

I think you may be confusing resonance with spl. Even though your car may seem to be loud and it is heard a ways away, that is not spl.
Our car is set up with a couple of fifteens. You can not hear the car that far away. A lot of people actually dont think its very loud for fifteens, but on a meter it hits around 145. SPL is the air that the subs push, not the frequency the resonate at. Your amp is a 1000 watts max, so you are getting about 500 watts out of it. The system may just resonate at a frequency that carries some distance, but at a 500 watt system at a db drag you would probably be eaten for lunch.

Well thanks guys. Before I go and look like a fool.. But My highs are running on that kenwood. and i got some 3 way door speakers.. Had to cut the plastic to make em fit.
