well i am getting some racing seats, so for future reference here is what you will need.
oh yea a how to is coming soon...

1. Seats

2. Seat side mounts for your racing seat. Get low profile rails. Bride or Nagisa auto will do. Unless you like sitting super high. And also some brackets this is what connects the seat rail to the floor.

3. Optional - sliders.

4. Optional - harnesses. Some manafacturers (like willans and sparco) sell harnesses (2 to 2, 2 to 1) that will have a detachable rear strap. This strap can be setup to attach to a custom mount you make, or an existing mount. Some straps even can clip to rear seatbelt clips. Check out sparco's site and look thru the various options to see what I mean.

5. Optional - no harnesses. You would need to take the seatbelt clip off your old seat, and mount it to the seat mount. There are kits for stuff like this.

I made my own brackets, with about $28 in material, and a welder ;)
I was going to buy Bride brackets for my Bride seats, but at nearly $350, I thought better of it..

So keep us posted!

I bought a Memory Fab slider/bracket. Great, except if you're less than 6 feet tall you aren't seeing out the windshield without a phone book under your ass.

my brother put a Corbeau bracket in his s14, and it was way too high. he took out the slider part and its still too high. I'm 6'1" and I can't drive it because my heads turned sideways against the ceiling. But then again 240s have a problem with little headroom. I got the super low bracket because of that, and its rreeaallllyy low. Def. let us know how the Sparco one matches up

Are you for real?
