I have not posted here in awhile, I have been very busy over the last year. Yesterday was a very sad day for me. This is a post documenting my project from when I brought the car home up until yesterday.

Day 1, on the drive home from chicago, picked her up cheap all stock 2000 civic DX hit in the right front.

Getting there!

Yesterday at the Dyno, 7-27-2012. We were in total shock at the numbers it put down, after the percentage difference from mustang dyno to Dyno Jet the car made 220whp and 149 ft lbs torque on 91 octane pump gas, We are speculating a possible spoon or Junn internals engine, no way a stock B16B should put that power down, I guess I got a lucky buy.

5 minutes after pulling the car off of the dyno, while turning around in a parking lot, the car was nailed by some 20 year old punk in a lincoln pickup doing at least 45-50 mph. Yea, in a parking lot!

Taken from beside the truck that hit the car, this is how long it took the moron to get stopped after he nailed the car.

Trailing arm was ripped out of the body

He spun the car completely around and through a concrete curb destroying the curb and of course everything underneath my car.

Obviously insurance will not cover even half of what I have into this car. Police came and said sorry it was on private property so we cant do anything but get you each others information. Before I knew that the police had been called I was going after the guy who was running his mouth to me, once informed of police in route it was all I could do to not kill the mother fu**er.

the car booked for $1400 and i sent them copies of all the body work i had just done and got receipts for all the parts (about $1700 in parts and paint) and they offered $2000 and i give them the car, then they offered $2300 and they take it. I fought for another 2 weeks and pulled $2500 and i kept the car.

Point is fight even if its a b!tch if you dont you never know what you could have gotten. Also it looks like you know what your doing like i did and fixed it again for $1000 myself even thought yours is more severe.

wow that is sooooooo painful to see!!!!! i've seen clean before....but yours was CLEAN! definitely one of the cleanest work in progress project i've seen. Even after that accident I would still try holding onto it man! whats the chances of you bringing it back??
