well.....back to life, just not back in my hands yet

Old motor to be rebuilt, and swapped into my '94 CX

New motor probably rebuilt someday in the future


and heres the other things they put on, slotted/drilled rotors & hawk pads

thats my friends dad. and the car is at their shop

they have some 92-95 coupe with ground controls, and its been sitting in the same spot for a while now, so i gotta ask them if its fair game to rip the springs out cause i want my cx to be slambed

im a numbers-matching freak

if i were to sell it, i dont want someone thinking its a salvage rebuild, etc. i just want them to know i snapped a rod, got new rods & pistons, and she runs again.

so while the original motor is out, im gonna get brand new s**t, maybe a lil more than i need, clean it all up, check everything, then put it back in.

then when the other motor is out for good, ill clean it up, check for anything, replace whatever if its needed, and then drop in my 5th gen

- 1982 chevy el camino (one of my dads "youll never do it" projects like my hatch)
- 1986 honda civic si hatchback (his future autox car)
- 1992 acura integra rs (dads donor car for the si, then part out rest..think its a 92)
- 1994 honda civic cx hatchback (my future autox/street car)
- 1994 honda civic dx sedan (donor car for my hatch for hood, rad support, rest will be parted out)

and we got all 5 for $1900 and none are flood cars

we got it just thinking it was a normal one, until i noticed the Super Sport badge on the dash and he got all happy and the guy at the shop said it just needs...ummm, well i forget but its nothin big.

oh and i dont have the car back, yet. still waiting for them to finish the new o2 sensor and hopefully everything works so i can finally get it back after a 3 month (give or take a few days) absence.
