Well, I think my little boy had a bit too much Halloween candy at the babysitter's yesterday because he threw up all over the back of my car.

Fortunately, most of it was contained to his carseat and the floormat.
Unfortunately, I was conviced that my poor abused 'teg would reek of vomit like every mommy mobile Caravan and Explorer on the road today.

I threw the mat and the seat cover for his child seat in the washing machine and got a bucket of hot water and some Tide and went to work on the parts of the car that don't come out. While I was scrubbing regurgitated Skittles and Snickers out of the back, my wife dumped a capful of Downy in the rinse cycle.

My car smells hella good now.

I wonder how long that will last?

If the smell comes back get some Odor-X. It's an Odor eliminator and I heard it gets pretty much anything out... I even heard of a story where it removed the stank of a scared dog out (you know those glands they're supposed to have near their anus... yeah... they let that fluuid go sometimes when they're scared apparently).

You'd really be surprisedc the number of people who trade cars in immediately after it has been vomitted in. The puke is usually still in the car too.

Did the dog have s**t coming out of it's eyes and mouth or something? Haha

Here's a good one, how do you kill battery acid? Its all over my back floor pans, carpet, and spare tire compartment.

Battery acid on carpet:

I'm not sure about cleaning it on paint.. I imagine it could have already done it's damage though. :( Btw, baking soda shoudl neutralize battery acid (in case this ever happens again).

No, I wouldn't be suprised.

I knew a girl from the bar that puked in her own Plymouth Sundance. Didn't bother to clean it up right away:shock:

The smell was unbearable! I thought I was going to contribute to the puke after a minute or two in her car.

Needless to say, I got to work cleaning up my car as soon as my little boy was okay.

The Downey with Febreeze still smells good today.
