Keeps it interesting and it follows the comic pretty damn well, as this does happen in the comic.

If you want a series to last you cant just bam *zombie *crazy s**t *Boobs * midget * awesome * awesome *awesome or it would be a one time short movie and not a series. In a long time story you need to develop characters so people care about them.

Thats cool. I haven't heard of the show. Also the show has been running since january according to wiki so I don't think you can say this show has stood the test of time. As with everything there are exceptions to the rule but normally if you don't build a story line no matter what kind of action you put in the movie it will fail. Imagine 300 with no leonidos or Spartan's just some dudes with beards doing stuff. Oh that dude just kicked a guy in a hole. Oh these dudes are being shot with arrows. It becomes interesting when a person has vested interest in the situation. Even the spartacus show is playing off an ancient story line. They can probably get away with the lack of plot because for most that watch the series the plot is common knowledge.

relax man, i was joking. Spartacus is the most epic show filled with boobs and blood ever. the storyline is decent but its the boobs and blood that really keep you watching.
