ive looked for tons and tons of write ups on dying interior but never see pics of after results or how it hold up. since its winter im planning on giving my car a break on motor and exterior work and plan on moving onto the interior.
i want to DYE my interior matte black using duplicolor or SEM spray can dye and hopefully some adhesion promoter...how long would the dye hold up in a DD? im planning to do the interior plastic, dash, carpet, and probably the seats.

please post if you view

ive seed a couple interiors done in my area in person and really its like every year that have to fix some kind of scratch from normal everyday use, otherwise it holds up ok... i guess.

I wouldn't recommend painting the carpet.

I've seen it done and the underlying color always shows through.

The dash and the door panels held up okay but you could always see the blue peeking through on the carpet in bright sunlight no matter how much paint he used.

ive used duplicolor vinyl and fabric dye in the spray can....i changed tan gsr seats to black and so far (only 2 months) it has held up nicely. i was impressed how good it actually turned out and looks stock
