I did it in my 98 civic with absolutely no guide or anything...I just laid it out and let it remove all the creases from the packaging...remove all the s**t the carpet is under. and lay in the new carpet. Cut where necessary. wasnt too hard

remove seats, remove consoles, pull out carpet, install in reverse order...

everything is held in simply with screws/bolts....easy to figure out

i'd go with "dark grey/charcoal" i have new civic floormats ordered direct from Honda, they said that the color code for my interior carpet was discontinued, and replaced with dark grey instead of light, so i have light carpet and dark floormats...but the mats are so big they cover about 95% of the carpet....

hope it goes good for you. Also, Google for "ACC, Honda civic, carpet" just another brand fyi...

just lay out the carpet for at least 24 hours after you receive it to let it un-crease...

I haven't done a Civic, but I did it with my old Celica. It was time consuming but not difficult. I got some cheap fiber insulation for sound dampening too so it was kinda' a hassle getting everything back down smooth.

I think the company was ACS. ???:what:

Heat gun would melt the pile!

My parents had this wallpaper remover that was like this big square handled thing that shot out steam. I had to be careful not to touch it to anything because it had old wallpaper glue all over it.

I checked. it was ACS/ Dorsett that I got the carpet from. It was around $120.
