Jammed my finger at work yesterday. I was dropping a box, and it had rubber in it so it bounced when it landed and pushed my finger into it's socket. Hurt like a motherfucking b***h. Now it's swollen and all stiff and I can't bend it all the way. It doesn't hurt too much if I bend it but if I try to use it doing anything else, hurts like a b***h.

I tried icing it for a few hours after it happened but it didn't help. If I don't move the finger I barely notice the pain. I can definitely feel it being swollen. I haven't had this s**t happen to me in a loonnngg time.

I'm pretty sure I've jammed all my fingers, and broke most. I currently have my left pinky and ring finger broken. Walk it off.

Pull it out....standard jam remedy. then an NSAID. tape it if your balls havent dropped gl bro

Heat is one of the worst things you do for something jammed and/or broken. Heat INCREASES the swelling. Yes it feels better, but it's not GETTING better. Alternate between ice and heat, more ice though than heat. If you won't tape it to the other finger, just break a Popsicle stick in 1/2. Tape at the tip of finger and near knuckle. that way your other fingers are free if need be.

I have 2 broken fingers right now and they're not in a cast at all. LOL Jammed fingers are cake.

I would do the same thing ive broken fingers before and if you go to the doctor all they do is put that thing on there to keep it straight then send you home popsicle stick trick is the same thing cept alot cheaper than going to the doctor lol.

Like I said....I was born with 10 fingers, and if one gets jammed I can use the others. There are far worse injuries. Try not being able to use your entire arm if you think one finger is bad.

I am very thankful I have never broken a bone, have never gotten a cast, never been in a wheel chair, never needed crutches, etc. I just cause myself a lot of pain otherwise .
