Throttle Body Upgrade for a 2000 Si?

so i have an aem short ram intake and i just really started getting into tuning my car by myself (and with the help of a dude i know), and i read somewhere that i can get a hp boost by installing a new throttle body. here's the question, which company makes the best performance throttle bodies? i see skunk2, edlebrock, etc, etc.... i really dont have a pile of money so im looking for the best bang for my buck right now. and yes i know a turbo would be better than an intake alone but not really wanting to do that right now... just so that s**t doesnt start. thanks in advance.

it all depends on the mods you have. if stock you don't need it if you plan to put more power sure its a difference just changing it to start you'll get a check engine light because ur gonna have a bit more air and the computer needs to match that to the fuel so it might require some tuning. Im running stock TB with a b20Vtec dont need anything more than that unless i change internals like Cams valves, springs and retainers. So if you are getting one i would go with Edelbrock there are different sizes so choose wisely
