Hey guys. I got a 94 civic coupe with a bad throw out bearing and just replaced the ecu.. the ecu I purchased years ago because of an engine swop. im now running a vtec engine. however its not functioning because it has not been wired to the ecu...

my question.. does the engine have to be removed to replace clutch, and throw out bearing. and also how hard/ how much would it cost to hook up the vtec wire?

No. The engine doesn't have to be removed from the vehicle to do a clutch. Just drop the trans out replace the stuff you need and throw it back in.

As far as the vtec wiring, do a search. Mini me swaps are an extremely common project and have been walked through on multiple sites, most even have pictures and wiring diagrams.
