timing belt and Tensioner

Wassup CC, Lookin to get my timing belt and tensioner replaced how much should i pay for this type of work as i can not do it my self nor tried, considering my mechanic skills arent up to par for somthing like that.

f**k if u were closer a case of beer and id teach u. Idk about 250 at a shop. Ur best bet is to call in get quotes dont let them bs u and buy ur own parts!

I would do a water pump too since its right in the same area, but I'd guess around $300

thanks for the help Now that you mention it im going to change the water pump as well, some mechanics were asking around 500 with out parts, which didnt seem reasonable....
Well im off to find a reputable mechanic, once again thanks for the input guys!

That is outrageous. My friends got a few quotes for me for my car because they were going to give me a huge discount but wanted to know how much to base it off of. $300 was about the average price.

You should do timing belt, belt tensioner, and water pump. And depending on how many miles, also consider your cam seal and crank seal since they'll be right there anyways.
